Hi! My name is Martijn Weghorst. I was born in October 1987 in The Netherlands. After completing high school I took one year 'off' due to an unfortunate choice of higher education. In that period I started a small movieposter-website called newestposters.com. I also did some work for a Dutch internet company called MediaXperience.

Newestposters.com became a small success and because of that I was able to start participating in MoviePosterDB.com, a website that already existed for a few years. After a while I became 50% owner and responsible for all technicall stuff.

In 2007 I decided it was time for college, so I started attending Utrecht University to study Communication and Information sciences. I've continued doing this with great pleasure ever since.
